Puerto Cabopino
The small village located on this wonderful port of Cabopino is found a short drive of 10 minutes from Marbella. Miles of sandy beaches offering water sports, fishing trips, boat trips, excursions and sight seeing tours, everything you need for a relaxing family vacation.
The port has several very nice restaurant from tradtional Spanish or English cuisine, to Italian or Chinese cooking, and if you're in the mood for a liquid lunch the Plaza de Santa Monica has several different bars to offer what you're looking for. The plaza also houses a mini market serving all the day to day essentials. A wonderful cafe and a barbeque style restaurant are also located in the plaza. During the summer some fantastic flamenco displays are staged in the plaza several times a week. Golf being a big business on the coast is also in reach. If you don't fancy the professional version theres a lovely mini crazy golf course, however there are some fantastic 18 hole courses just a short drive away, in the form of both La Siesta and Cabopino Golf Courses. These are not the only courses to tempt the golfer in you, with over 30 courses on the Costa del Sol, and if thats too much then there are also multiple 9 hole golf courses on the coast.
Due to Cabopino's position on the Costa del Sol there are plenty of activities with a short drive from the Puerto. There is the Aquapark in Mijas Costa, and the fantastic Zoo in Fuengirola, Tivoli world in Benalmadena. In the direction of Marbella there is Funny Beach, with go karts and water sports, it's a great day out for the family. Also in Marbella there is La Canada, a large shopping mall with a cinema, bowling alley and plenty of lovely restaurants. And only a short drive further a field in Estepona is Selwo wildlife park.
